Sri Lanka GCI Report (Nov 2008)

Sri Lanka GCI was held from Nov. 11th to 15th at Jesus Comes Church in Maskeliya. This GCI was historical in Sri Lanka as all five subjects were taught by the local trainers who have gone through “Train Trainers to Train Others” session last August. I participated in this first local GCI in Sri Lanka as an observer. At the end of the GCI, I used an opportunity to share the purpose and vision of GCI. We had 22 students, eleven sisters and eleven brothers this time.......

ImageIt was discussed last June that Sri Lanka GCI should move into a new dimension that local trainers should train other local leaders. I understand AO has been sifting into this direction, “Train trainers to train others,” and they have already done this in some areas.......

MISSION CAMBODIA (August 2008)

The next few days was amazingly good for the team of 8 from Harvest Christian Centre to rendezvous in the villages where I myself have never been in my GCI trips to Cambodia in the past 6 years.....

INTRODUCTION
The Mission Trip to Bangladesh was a teaching, training and ministry mission trip carried out in fulfilment of the overall objective of the Great Commission Institute (GCI) of Asian Outreach International (AOI). The target country this time was Bangladesh covering a period of seven days from 7th to 13th September 2008.
